After hearing that some of our members would love to run the race but couldn’t make the date, we have decided to open a Virtual Race option to members only.

If you’d like to run the course and get a finisher’s medal to add to your collection, you must:

  1. Fill in the form below BEFORE you run the route.
  2. Pay – minimum donation £10 – please use Virtual as a reference on the bank transfer. This will help cover the cost of the race and a prize for the virtual winners.
  3. Download / save / otherwise figure out how to follow the gpx route below as it will not be signed on your chosen date.
  4. Canicross the route any time between 7th November 2026 and 31st December 2026 and make sure to TRACK IT on your watch or app.
  5. You must take a photograph of yourself and/or your dog on the route.
  6. Share your result (screenshot or upload) and your photo to Carin by 1st January 2027 via email / FB Message / FB Post (if you post your entry in the group, tag Carin).

In the first week of January, Carin will announce the winner of the short and long route, both of whom will win a small prize.
Everyone who signs up will receive a finisher’s medal. Note: Fastest speed will not determine the winner of the virtual race.

This is open to members only because we can’t promise to post out your finishers medal – you’ll need to collect this from Carin at one of the club runs.

Rules:
Normal club run rules apply, you run at your own risk – the club will not be able to support virtual racers with kit, group leaders, route markers or insurance.

We have only got 20 spaces for this so book in quickly!
