Matt Armstrong (treasurer)

I’ve been running with Otto, my Large Munsterlander, for 5 years now.

He was a natural to it and loves been at the front, mainly because that gives him a head-start if he sees a squirrel. He does have a slightly alarming tendency to stop dead if he smells something or if he just fancies a roll in the grass.

The highlights for me over the past couple of years have got to be the (extended) Ashridge boundary run we did just after New Year (22 miles around Ashridge was a great way to run off a few of the Christmas calories) and swimming at Box End.

He’s got no chance of catching the ducks but that doesn’t stop him trying to cross the lake to get to them.
